We know, we know: so many dance challenges, so little time. But taking the #SwishSwishChallenge, which the ever-fabulous Katy Perry announced yesterday, could earn you a prize bigger than run-of-the-mill internet fame: a chance to star in Perry's "Swish Swish" music video.
Katy's always loved showcasing interweb dance celebrities, most notably Russell "The Backpack Kid" Horning , whose Insta-famous moves she brought to the stage of "Saturday Night Live" back in May . This latest talent search, though—a collaboration with DanceOn—is a bit more official. Before 11:59 pm on July 12, post a video showing your best "Swish Swish" moves to YouTube, Instagram, or Musical.ly. Be sure to use the tags #SwishSwishChallenge, @DanceOn, and @KatyPerry. (For the record, the contest is only open to dancers 13 and over who live in the U.S.) Perry will hand-pick an applicant for a role in the "Swish Swish" music video.
