Courtesy Eva, we learned no matter how talented you are, if you have a negative outlook, you won't get far.

Some fabulous dancers have fabulous turnout; other fabulous dancers, like Jody, just don't. Own your personal strengths—and don't get hung up on your flaws.

If the passion isn't there, it's impossible to succeed—even if, like Maureen, you do have the turnout.

And not all ballet boys are straight. We've said it before and we'll say it again: Dance doesn't define anyone's sexuality. Thanks for driving that point home, Charlie (and Erik O. Jones).

As Jody learned, sometimes taking a break from the barre is the best thing you can do for your dancing. Being versatile—and gaining a little perspective—will only help you!

You can't do it all on your own. Everyone needs the critical eye of a Juliette sometimes.

Ballet teaches us to follow the rules—but going rogue, Eva-style, can have its own rewards, too. Don't be afraid to take risks!

One word: ICONIC.

We're just going to say it: Center Stage is the best dance movie of all time.

Seriously, though, is there anything better than this oh-so-quotable classic? Not only does it star some brilliant dancers, but it's also chock-full of wisdom . If you're a die-hard Center Stage fan (which, like, c'mon, we know you are), you'll be familiar with these 8 life lessons straight from the movie.
